5th November

Post by TBone96 » November 6th, 2016, 2:04 pm

How did your night go what did you do did you have a bommy and fire works ?

Looking back to when we grow up collecting wood, trees old furniture and anything that would burn to be truthful to build the bommy as big as we could. Sitting round it cooking spuds till the early hours lol.....

Not no more you just don't see it I found 2 yesterday and not much to rite home about either kids don't seem to be interested any more.

We went to a comedy evening last night there till 2am quality night singers, food, a good laugh and a good old disco to finish the night my legs are feeling rough today.

Agree on ban, but should be allowed at organised events only we had them going off for around 3/4 weeks now, when I went out this morning all debris floating in my pond garden covered in plastic pieces even on my window cills and shed roofs, found a rocket on top of car

Sorry about your pets but I must admit I still think it's great if you can find a good fire and you can't beet a bag of chips while watching it, some of them fire works are amazing there still going off here tonight lighting up the sky.

Was carp fishing, bivvied up for the weekend some years ago now
The lake was not far from a major football ground
Now they had an organised fireworks display Awesome,we sat outside watching the display!
Never had any runs while that was going off,the club must have spent a fortune
Abit like the London new year display.
10/10

I must admit I do like a good display and there are some good ones around here but that's where they should be restricted too. I remember having fires in the back garden when we were young with hot dogs and toasting marshmallows but no fireworks
